My weekend has been wholly uneventful. Okay, that's not true. I hung out with my friend Ellen yesterday while she made a couple of vegetable quiches, and I got a whole lot of cleaning done. Friday night Will put up an IKEA CD tower for our spare room/study/computer room, so it looks something like this (except with only one CD tower and two bookcases), so we could throw out our old cheap CD holders. We also threw out a battered IKEA coffee table, I finally opened all my mail, and generally cleaned up all my assorted junk.

This morning I tackled the kitchen, spilled peppercorns all over the floor, vacuumed up all the peppercorns, and now the apartment is clean and organized (and hopefully to stay that way, but I won't hold my breath), and I can now play Pirates! with a clear conscience.
